Standing Water In Shower Pan
I ve had some contractors help me do the work.
Standing water in shower pan. I have removed all the caulk from the shower enclosure. How is the water supposed to drain from the liner. When i bought my home the shower pan tiling had been done completely flat and. New shower pan and shower enclosure installed.
I turned the water on today and i ve noticed a flat area about 6 8 inches from. When i am done showering there is still standing water. This may or may not be a problem depending on the design of the shower pan and the degree of flexing but in some cases severe flexing can cause stress on the drain fittings and may cause a leak around the shower drain in very serious cases a cheap brittle shower pan may even develop cracks in its floor surface.
